4-6" Wellendi Sauna Rocks
The larger of our two stone sizes, 4 to 6 in (10 to 15 cm). Wellendi sauna rocks are olivine diabase, harvested from the shores of Lake Huron in Ontario, and suit both electric sauna heaters and wood-burning sauna stoves.
Choosing a size
Check the stone size your heater or stove manual calls for before ordering. Our 2 to 4 in size is the other option. Some builds use both, larger stones at the bottom and smaller ones on top.
The material
Olivine diabase with high heat retention, low porosity that minimizes cracking, and thermal stability through repeated heating and cooling. Free from harmful substances, and tested and approved to international aggregate standards.
Quantities
20 kg (44 lb) boxes, or a pallet of 60 boxes for a commercial installation or a dealer order.
Filling your heater or stove
Rinse them thoroughly first, then stack loosely so air can move between them for even heat.
Not for
Fire pits or cooking use.
